Data Empowers Climate Actions

ABOUT THIS TRAINING

According to the World Economic Forum, technology could potentially reduce emissions by up to 20% in energy, materials, and mobility by 2050. Additionally, two-thirds of countries are including technology as part of their national climate plans to adapt to or mitigate the impacts of climate change. By introducing digital systems, businesses can monitor their energy consumption and identify areas where they can reduce waste. In this session, Dr. Ma Jun spoke about how Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) utilizes its Green Supply Chain Map, Global Corporate Accountability Map, and Carbon Footprint Disclosure Catalogue to help companies access and track environmental data.
