IFC’s annual Green and Social Bond Impact Report publishes a list of projects in emerging markets that have been funded through the proceeds of our green and social bonds. IFC's green bonds help finance sustainable, climate smart projects with positive environmental impact. The report sheds light on how these bonds are fueling sustainable growth in emerging markets. In FY23, IFC raised $2 billion through 20 green bonds in six currencies and $1.2 billion through 15 social bonds in five currencies, representing a quarter of our annual funding program.
